world challenge - nepal 2019

Hey

My name is Makenzy and I’ve been selected by my school to take part in the World Challenge trip to Nepal in 2019.  

World Challenge was created in 1985 when a young army captain took a team of soldiers overseas on a training mission and realised that the personal developement and camaraderie they would learn would shape them for years to come.  He brought the blueprint of this training back with him and World Challenge was born.  Whether it’s about finding perspective, overcoming obstacles or gaining confidence, World Challenge builds the life skills we (young people) need, to live a life of courage, kindness and adventure.

I will be away for 3 weeks, with 23 other students,  dividing our time into 3 sections - trekking, a community project and cultural/adrenaline highlights.   I’m looking forward to the challenge of stepping outside my comfort zone and learning new things, not just about the world, but about myself as well.

The entire experience is ours to own - from choosing our journey,  planning our expedition and of course raising our own funds.

MANGO TRAYS - Bringing you your very own tray of delicious Bowen Special Mangoes (formally known as Kensington Pride Mangoes). Each tray will hold approx 7kg of Mangoes - varying in numbers from 12 large Mangoes up to 23 small Mangoes.
